About our speaker

We are pleased to announce Pastor Cedrick Brown will be speaking at our

Retreat this coming fall! Our brother and sister Tim & Cheryle Sharpe have known Pastor Cedrick for over 20 years.

He leads Commitment Community Church, based in Lindenwold, NJ, established in 1996. Commitment Community is a flourishing, racially diverse congregation committed to reaching ALL nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Cedrick’s background is as diverse as his church. The last of 8 children, raised in Compton, California, Pastor Cedrick went on to become a member of the Philadelphia Eagles under the legendary “Buddy” Ryan in the late 80s! After working 15 years in Sales and Sales Management, Cedrick decided to dedicate his life “full-time” to ministry, including publishing multiple books, obtaining a bachelor’s from Philadelphia Biblical University, and acquiring his Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary.

Pastor Cedrick is a sought-after public speaker for churches, family events, youth and business events, and more. He has been married to his beautiful wife Lisa for 30 years, and they have three wonderful children together. We are fortunate to have such a great contributor to God’s kingdom lead our upcoming retreat, and we look forward to all who attend being blessed by our fellowship together!
